Eligibility Details

Qualification

Candidates must have passed the 10th Class/Matriculation from a recognised Board of School Education. Serving Special Police Officers (SPOs) with at least three years of continuous engagement may be eligible with an 8th Pass qualification, provided all other conditions are met.

Age Limit

Age must be between 18 and 28 years as on 01 January 2026, with relaxations as per applicable rules.

Domicile

A valid Domicile Certificate of the Union Territory of Ladakh is required. Preference for Border Battalion requires domicile in an eligible border village. Women and Border Battalion vacancies are available only for the domicile district.
