Lok Nayak Hospital Junior Resident Recruitment 2026 - 70 Adhoc Posts (Walk-in Interview)

Age Details (as per the notification)

• General / EWS: 30 years
• OBC: 33 years
• SC / ST: 35 years
• Admissible relaxation up to 40 years in certain cases as per applicable norms.

Educational Qualification

• MBBS degree from a recognized university/institution or an equivalent degree.
• Candidates must have completed their internship after 01-03-2024 and before 01-07-2026. Internship certificates dated prior to 01-03-2024 will render the candidature invalid.

Age Limit

• Age reckoned as on 01-07-2026.
• General/EWS: up to 30 years
• OBC: up to 33 years
• SC/ST: up to 35 years
• If necessary, age relaxation up to a maximum of 40 years may be admissible as per government circulars.
• OBC and EWS certificates must be issued by the Government of NCT of Delhi and should indicate Non-Creamy Layer status for the current financial year.

• Walk-in Interview Date: 15-07-2026 at 10:00 AM (reporting time)
• Interview Venue: Room No. 139, OPD First Floor, Lok Nayak Hospital, New Delhi
• If the number of applicants exceeds capacity, interviews may continue on subsequent days (excluding Sundays and holidays).

Application Fee

• There is no application or interview fee for this recruitment.

Important Instructions

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Appointment is subject to verification of certificates (educational qualification, age, DMC registration, internship completion).
• Concealing prior Junior Resident service (regular/adhoc) in any Government hospital will result in cancellation.
• The hospital reserves the right to adjust the number of posts or cancel/reject applications without furnishing reasons.

Contractual Terms

• Junior Residents are eligible for 2.5 days of leave per calendar month; no other leaves are granted.
• LTC, pensionary benefits, group insurance, study leave, and child care leave are not admissible.
• Maternity Leave is provided as per the Maternity Benefits (Amendment) Act 2017.
• The contract may be terminated by either party with 10 days’ notice or equivalent salary in lieu thereof.
• This is a purely contractual appointment and does not guarantee regularization.
• Private practice is not allowed during the tenure.
• Selected candidates who join will not be issued an NOC for passport or visa purposes.
• In case of any legal dispute, the jurisdiction will be Delhi/New Delhi.
