Age Limit

• Not more than 55 years for general candidates.
• Relaxations as per Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation norms where applicable.

Educational Qualifications

• DM or DNB in the relevant super-specialty.
• Marathi language qualification.
• CCC or MS-CIT/GECT computer certificate.
• Registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC).

Experience and Other Requirements

• Candidates should possess the required post-qualification experience in the respective super-specialty.
• This recruitment is purely contractual and based on a fixed monthly honorarium.

• Notification Date: 09 February 2026
• Application Form Sale Start: 09 February 2026 (11:00 AM onwards)
• Last Date to Obtain Application Form: 20 February 2026 (up to 3:30 PM during office hours)
• Application Submission Last Date: 20 February 2026 up to 4:00 PM (inward-outward section)
• Interview Date & Time: Will be intimated to shortlisted candidates by email and mobile number
• Contract Period: From date of appointment till 31 March 2027

Application Fee

• Rs. 790/- + 18% GST Rs. 143/- = Rs. 933/- (non-refundable).
• The fee is paid via the prescribed process and the original fee receipt must accompany the filled application form.

Additional Instructions

• These posts are purely on a contract basis and do not confer any right to regularisation; Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Service Rules 1989 will not apply to contractual appointees.
• The appointing authority reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time without prior notice if services are not required or performance is unsatisfactory.
• No pension, PF, or retirement benefits are admissible for contractual posts, and no DA, HRA, or similar allowances will be paid in addition to the fixed honorarium.
• Candidates already in service must attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer with the application.
• False information or suppression of facts can lead to cancellation of candidature or termination of appointment without notice.
• Change of name requires documentary proof (marriage certificate or gazette notification).
• A police character certificate stating no criminal cases will be required within one month of appointment.
• The Municipal Commissioner, BMC, reserves the right to cancel or suspend the recruitment process for any or all posts at any stage without giving reasons.
