• Retired District Judge or Additional District Judge or someone who has held a judicial office higher in rank than District Judge
• Proficiency in Marathi to speak, read, write, and translate between Marathi and English

Member, Permanent Lok Adalat

• Citizen of India
• Knowledge and adequate experience in any Public Utility Service as defined under Section 22-A of the Act
• Sufficient knowledge of Marathi to communicate effectively in both Marathi and English
