Eligibility Details

• Educational Qualification: First class in Master’s in Library & Information Science from recognized Indian universities with a strong academic record. Desirable: Knowledge of Computer & IT.
• Citizenship: Indian citizen.
• Age: Maximum age limit of 30 years as of the last date of application.
• Notes: Candidates who have appeared for their final year examination and are awaiting results may apply, but must bring the final marks sheet at the time of interview.

Instructions

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• One leave is allowed in every two months; no encashment of leave is permissible.
• Trainees will work in various shifts, including mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays (rotational, six days a week).
• No accommodation will be provided by MANIT Bhopal.
• Traineeship is contractual; no claim for a regular/sanctioned post.

Reporting and Selection

• Walk-in Interview Venue: Institute Committee Hall, Administrative Block, MANIT Bhopal.
• Bring all original documents and self-attested copies for verification.
• Selection is based on performance in the walk-in interview; TA/DA will not be paid. Incomplete applications or missing supporting documents will be rejected.
