MECON Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 44 Junior Engineer and Junior Officer Posts

Age Limit (as on 02.02.2026)

• Upper age limit for all posts: 50 years, with relaxations as per Government of India guidelines. Overall, the maximum age may extend to 52 years with applicable relaxations and for additional relevant experience (up to 3 years).

Educational Qualifications

Junior Engineer (Mechanical)

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 16 years of post-qualification experience in construction/supervision of hydrocarbon projects (process plants, pipelines, refineries, LPG depots, etc.).
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with NDT Level-2 certification. 16 years of post-qualification experience in similar hydrocarbon projects.

Junior Engineer (Civil)

• Diploma in Civil Engineering. 16 years of post-qualification experience in design/site supervision for building construction or industrial projects.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering. 16 years of post-qualification experience in construction/supervision of industrial projects, preferably in hydrocarbon sector.

Junior Engineer (Electrical)

• Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (or combination where Electrical is one branch). 16 years of post-qualification experience in design/construction of electrical works for building/infrastructure/industrial projects.

Junior Officer (HR)

• BBA or Graduate in any discipline. 16 years of post-qualification experience in HR functions.

Junior Officer (Admin)

• BBA or Graduate in any discipline. 16 years of post-qualification experience in administrative work.

Application Fee

• General / OBC (NCL) / EWS: Rs. 1000 (non-refundable).
• SC / ST / PwD / Ex-Servicemen and internal candidates: Fee exempted.

Selection Process

• Selection is primarily through Personal Interview of provisionally shortlisted candidates. Shortlisting will be based on scrutiny of applications and uploaded documents. MECON reserves the right to alter the mode of selection, adjust eligibility criteria, or modify vacancies.
