Age Details

• As on 20-01-2026, the upper age limit is 30 years for Graduate Trainees / Management Trainees and 35 years for Manager (Survey).
• Relaxations: 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, up to 10-15 years for PwBD as applicable; Ex-Servicemen benefit as per rules. The overall upper age limit for all posts shall not exceed 53 years.

Educational Qualifications

• Graduate Trainees (Mines): B.E./B.Tech in Mining or equivalent with minimum 60% marks. Post-qualification DGMS-related requirements (Gas Testing, First Aid, and experience) may apply for certain certificates.
• Graduate Trainees (Mechanical): B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or equivalent with minimum 60% marks.
• Graduate Trainees (Electrical): B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunications / Power or equivalent with minimum 60% marks.
• Graduate Trainees (Chemical): B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 60% marks.
• Management Trainees (Geology): Post Graduate in Geology/Applied Geology with minimum 60% marks.
• Graduate Trainees (Process): Chemical Engineering (60%), Metallurgical Engineering (60%), Mineral Processing (M.Tech in Mineral Processing or equivalent, 60%).
• Management Trainees (Materials/Contract Mgmt): Engineering degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil or MBA/Post Graduate Diploma in Management (60%), recognized by UGC/AICTE.
• Management Trainee (Systems): BE/B.Tech in CS/CE/IT or MCA with 60% marks.
• Management Trainee (Personnel/Welfare): PG in Social Work with Labour Welfare/PIM/IR/HR-related qualifications (60%), with preference to Law graduates.
• Management Trainee (Marketing): MBA in Marketing/Foreign Trade or PG Diploma in Marketing/Foreign Trade (60%), or Engineering with PG in Marketing/Foreign Trade (60%).
• Manager (Survey): Graduate with 60% marks; Surveyor’s competency certificate; relevant post-qualification experience.
