Age Details

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 40 years for Open posts; 45 years for MP domicile SC/ST/OBC, MP domicile Women, MP government employees and PwD; 40 years for EWS (no relaxation); up to 55 years for contract employees per relaxation rules.

Educational Qualification

A Bachelor’s degree (Graduate) in Agriculture or Horticulture from a recognised university.

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)

Minimum age: 18 years Maximum age: 40 years for Open/General; 45 years for MP domicile SC/ST/OBC; 45 years for MP Government/Corporation/Board employees, Home Guards, Divyangjan (PwD); 40 years for EWS (no relaxation). Contract (Samvida) employees and certain priority categories may go up to 55 years with applicable relaxations.

Other Eligibility Conditions

• Indian citizenship; MP domicile registration may be required for certain concessions.
• Live registration in an MP Employment Office is mandatory for all applicants.
• Non-domiciles of MP may apply only against Open posts and are not eligible for fee concessions, reservations, or age relaxation.
• Aadhaar registration is mandatory and Aadhaar must be unlocked at biometric verification.
• Family size restrictions apply for certain candidates (e.g., specific rules on children).

MP Online Portal Charges & Corrections

• MP Online portal fee: Rs. 60 (kiosk) or Rs. 20 (citizen login)
• Correction fee: Rs. 20 per correction, plus Rs. 40 portal fee for each correction during the correction window
• Fees payable via credit/debit card, net banking, or MP Online kiosk

Important Instructions

• Only online applications are accepted.
• Aadhaar authentication is mandatory; biometric verification will be conducted at the exam centre.
• Entry to the exam centre is allowed only up to the reporting time.
• Prohibited items include mobile phones, calculators, watches, etc. Violations may result in UFM actions.
• Final year/result-awaiting candidates are not eligible.
• Online corrections close on 22 July 2026; no corrections after that or after admit card issuance.
• Objections to questions can be submitted online within three days of the objection link going live, at Rs. 150 per question.
• Travel reimbursement for eligible MP domicile SC/ST/OBC and PwD candidates is provided via e-payment; submit bank details in Proforma-1.
