Educational Qualification

• At least a Master’s degree in Geography or an equivalent qualification as prescribed by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC).

Important Notes from the Official MPPSC Selection List

• The current selection covers 87% of the Main Part; 13% Provisional Part will be declared after final court judgments on OBC reservations.
• In case of ties, the following order applies: higher total marks, then higher written marks, then older candidate by age.
• Guest Faculty (Atithi Vidwan) reservation eligibility and age relaxation have been verified by a departmental committee.
• Results of candidates with pending court cases are withheld pending final judicial decisions.
• MPPSC reserves the right to correct any numerical or clerical errors after publication.
• Disability seat adjustments: 3 posts reserved for Hearing Impaired in the main 87% portion remained vacant and were carried to the Unreserved category as per government directions.
• Reserved-category candidates who qualify on unreserved merit without relaxation benefit are selected against unreserved posts.
• If there are insufficient female candidates for women-reserved seats, those posts may be filled by male candidates of the same category as per government circular dated 10-02-1997.
