Age Limits (as on 01-08-2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years for all posts
• State Service maximum age: 33 to 40 years depending on post
• Maharashtra Police Service maximum age: 33 years for unreserved category
• Age relaxations as per category: SC/ST 5 years, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years (unreserved), 13 years (OBC-NCL), 15 years (SC/ST)
• Ex-Servicemen: As per state rules
• Women (widows/divorced): Special relaxation as per government norms

Educational Qualifications

• State Service Posts: Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
• Maharashtra Police Service: Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates with degrees in Law, Science subjects, or specialized qualifications relevant to police administration.

Other Requirements

• All qualifications must be earned from institutions recognized by appropriate statutory bodies and must be valid as on the application closing date (20/01/2026).
• Post-graduate degrees, diplomas in relevant fields, and experience in administration or related sectors will be given preference at final selection.
• Computer knowledge: Basic proficiency in MS Office.
• Language: Knowledge of Marathi is mandatory; candidates should be able to read, write, and speak Marathi fluently.

Application Fees

• General/OBC/EWS (Male): As per MPSC fee structure; Online payment via Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI
• Female (All Categories): Reduced fee as per MPSC rules; Online payment via Card/Net Banking/UPI
• SC/ST (Maharashtra State): No fee
• PwBD: No fee
• Ex-Servicemen: As per MPSC concession rules; Online payment

Note: Application fee, once paid, is non-refundable under any circumstances.

General Instructions

• Candidates must be Indian citizens and meet all educational qualifications on or before the last date of submission.
• Only online applications will be accepted. Other modes will not be entertained.
• Maintain a valid email ID and mobile number throughout the recruitment process.
• Upload recent passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed formats during online application.
• Multiple applications from the same candidate will be rejected.
• Maharashtra SC/ST candidates are eligible for fee exemption.
• Reservation will be provided as per state government rules.
• Marathi language proficiency is mandatory; candidates may be tested accordingly.
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from current employer is required at the time of Interview if applicable.
• The decision of MPSC on eligibility, selection, and appointment shall be final.

• Step 2: Find the relevant recruitment notification and click Apply Online
• Step 3: Register with basic details, then login to complete Part-I and Part-II
• Step 4: Upload scanned photograph and signature as per specifications
• Step 5: Fill in educational qualifications and other details
• Step 6: Choose posts and examination centers
• Step 7: Pay the application fee online
• Step 8: Submit the application form and take a printout for records
• Step 9: Note down the application/registration number for status tracking
