Eligibility Criteria

Essential Education

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognised university/institution.

Experience

• Twelve years of experience in a relevant discipline in an executive cadre within an Industrial/Commercial/Government undertaking.

Absorption/Deputation (as applicable)

• For absorption through composite method: Officers holding analogous posts or the post of Superintending Engineer and equivalent posts in the respective discipline of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Department, with conditions on pay scale and tenure.
• For deputation: Officers holding analogous posts or Superintending Engineer and equivalent posts in the respective discipline in Government/PSUs/Autonomous bodies with appropriate service requirements.

Selection Benchmark

• Selection is by merit, and the overall APAR/ACR grading should not be below "Very Good".
