• Postgraduate degree/diploma in Economics or Statistics or Mathematics or Operational Research or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information

Experience

• Twelve years of executive experience in P&R/EDP/E&T Division in Planning or in data collection and interpretation or in conducting field surveys, or in the field of electronic data processing/Information Technology or in electronics and communication.

General Instructions

• Applications are invited from eligible officers of all Major Port Authorities with the prescribed qualifications and experience.
• Applications must be submitted through the Online Application Portal (OAP) of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways from 16-12-2025 to 15-01-2026. No other submission will be accepted.
• A hard-copy of the OAP-uploaded application must be forwarded to MbPA through the respective administrative Port by 30-01-2026.
• The following documents must be submitted with the hard copy: APARs for last five years, year-wise availability of APARs with grading, attested copies of certificates and qualification proofs, No Objection Certificate, undertaking not to withdraw candidature if selected, administrative clearance, vigilance report (Annexure III), two passport-size photos, and related documents.
• Candidatures received through advance copies without proper channel submission will not be considered. Ensure complete enclosures are sent together.
• The crucial eligibility date is 15-01-2026. Withdrawals after selection may lead to debarment from future Dy. HoD posts for two years across Major Port Authorities.
• Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
