Age Limits

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age (as on the last date of application, 31 May 2026): General 40 years; Category-2A/2B/3A/3B 43 years; SC/ST/Category-1 45 years.

Age Relaxation

There is a one-time 5-year age relaxation as per government orders and High Court directions (valid up to 31.12.2027). Additional relaxations apply for Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities, Widows, etc.

Educational Qualifications by Post

• Stenographer Grade-III: PUC/12th or equivalent + Senior Grade Typewriting & Shorthand (Kannada & English) or a 3-year Diploma in Commercial Practice.
• Copyist: PUC/12th or equivalent + Junior Grade Typewriting (Kannada & English).
• Process Server & Peon: SSLC/10th or equivalent.

General Knowledge

• Computer knowledge is essential for all posts.
