Eligibility Details

Assistant Editor (English)

• Graduation from a recognized university with MA in English or MPhil. Experience in manuscript evaluation, commissioning, copyediting, and proofreading is preferred.

Assistant Editor (English) for Comics/Graphic Books/Coffee Table Books

• Graduation with MA in English or MPhil. 3-4 years of experience in manuscript evaluation, commissioning, copyediting, proofreading in a reputed publishing house. Knowledge of conceptualizing, visualizing, scripting, editing for comics/graphic books, and experience with related IT tools is advantageous.

Editorial Assistant (English) for Comics/Graphic Books/Coffee Table Books

• Graduation with MA in English or MPhil. 1-2 years of experience in manuscript evaluation, commissioning, copyediting, proofreading in a reputed publishing house. Background in art education or related IT software is a plus.

Editorial Assistant (Marathi, Kannada, Gujarati, Malayalam, Odia, Telugu) (One each)

• Graduation with Masters Degree in the specified language. Minimum 1 year of experience in an Editorial Department of a publishing house. Proficiency in translation, copy editing, proofreading. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Adobe PageMaker, InDesign, page designing, DTP, and typesetting in the respective language.

Editorial Assistant (English)

• Graduation with Masters Degree in English. Minimum 1 year of experience in an Editorial Department of a publishing house. Proficiency in translation, copy editing, proofreading. Knowledge of Adobe PageMaker, InDesign, page designing, DTP, and typesetting in English.
