NCPOR Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026 - Walk-in

Age

Maximum Age Limit: 28 years. Age relaxation is applicable for OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.

Eligibility Details

Junior Research Fellow (JRF-01 to JRF-03)

• Master’s degree in Geophysics, Marine Geophysics, Applied Geology, Applied Geophysics, Marine Geophysics, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant subject with at least 60% marks.
• CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or Ph.D. required, or GATE qualified.
• Work/research experience in marine geological/geophysical data analysis; hands-on experience with programming languages (Fortran, Python, C++, MATLAB).

Junior Research Fellow (JRF-02)

• Master’s degree in Marine Science, Oceanography, Physical Oceanography, Atmospheric Science, or equivalent, or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with at least 60% marks.
• CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship/Ph.D. or GATE qualified.
• Experience in oceanographic and atmospheric data analysis, numerical modelling; programming in MATLAB/Python/FERRET, etc.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF-03)

• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Marine Chemistry, Chemical Oceanography, Marine Sciences, Hydrochemistry, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with at least 60% marks.
• CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship/Ph.D. or GATE qualified.
• Experience in chemical oceanography and marine chemistry, including sample preparation and seawater analysis for nutrients, trace gases/metals, isotopes.
