Eligibility Details

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• Master’s degree in a relevant subject (Geology, Geophysics, Marine Science, Oceanography, Chemistry, etc.) OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with at least 60% marks, with CSIR-UGC NET or GATE qualification.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

• Master’s degree in a relevant subject with at least 55% marks, plus one SCI publication and two years of post-master’s research experience.

Desirable

• Relevant research experience, programming skills (Python, MATLAB, Fortran, etc.), field work experience.

Age Limit

• JRF: Maximum 28 years
• SRF: Maximum 32 years

Age relaxation as per Government of India norms.
