Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 35 years as on 04/12/2025, with relaxations as per rules for SC/ST/OBC-PwD/Ex-Servicemen and other categories.

Educational Qualification

• Full-time B.E./B.Tech./B.Plan from a UGC-recognized university or AICTE-approved institution. Regular/_full-time courses only.
• Preferable: Postgraduate/Master’s degree in Transport Planning/Transport Engineering or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience after the essential degree.
• Experience in planning for rail-based public transport systems and involvement in multimodal transport studies.
• Involvement in preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for Metro, High Speed Rail, RRTS, or other rail-based projects; mobility planning and multimodal integration.
• For private sector candidates, a minimum CTC of Rs. 6.70 lakhs per annum (CTC varies for CDA/IDA).

Selection Process

• Written Test/Computer Based Test (CBT) with 80% weightage and Interview with 20% weightage.
• Minimum qualifying marks: 60% for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS; 50% for SC/ST/PwBD.
• Merits are based on the combined score of Written Test/CBT and Interview. Shortlisting may be in the ratio 1:5 per category.
• Document verification will occur before the interview; only candidates with complete original documents will be admitted.
