NEIGRIHMS Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026 - Walk-in

Age Limit

Maximum age limit: 50 years. Age relaxation as per Government of India norms for reserved categories and physically handicapped candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Professor (CTVS)

• Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• M.Ch (2/3/5 years) or an equivalent qualification in the respective discipline.
• One year teaching and/or research experience after obtaining M.Ch (or equivalent); however, no experience is necessary for candidates with a 3-year M.Ch.
• Registration with Central/State Medical Council.

Assistant Professor (General Medicine)

• Medical qualification as above.
• Postgraduate qualification (MD or equivalent).
• Three years teaching/research experience post-MD.
• Registration with Central/State Medical Council.

Assistant Professor (General Surgery)

• Medical qualification as above.
• Postgraduate qualification (MS or equivalent).
• Three years teaching/research experience post-MS.
• Registration with Central/State Medical Council.

Assistant Professor (Neurosurgery)

• Medical qualification as above.
• M.Ch. (2/3/5 years) or equivalent.
• One year teaching/research experience post-M.Ch. (2/5-year duration after MBBS); no experience required for the 3-year M.Ch. candidates.
• Registration with Central/State Medical Council.

Assistant Professor (Radiodiagnosis & Imaging)

• Medical qualification as above.
• Postgraduate qualification (MD or equivalent).
• Three years teaching/research experience post-MD.
• Registration with Central/State Medical Council.
