NFC Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for Scientific Officer, Nurse, Scientific Assistant, Pharmacist & Technician Posts

Age Limits (as on the last date of online application, 02 May 2026)

• Scientific Officer (C) - GDMO (12601): 18-35 years
• Nurse (A) and Scientific Assistant (B) - Radiographer & Pathology Technician (12602, 12603, 12604): 18-30 years
• Pharmacist (B) and Technician (B) - X-ray Technician (12605, 12606): 18-25 years

Relaxations (as applicable)

• OBC: +3 years
• SC: +5 years
• PwBD: +10 years (for posts 12602 and 12605 only)
• Ex-Servicemen & Central Government Employees: as per government orders
• Widowed/Divorced/Judicially Separated Women (not remarried) for 12605 & 12606: up to 35 years (subject to court judgment/decree)

Educational Qualifications per Post

• Scientific Officer (C) - GDMO (Post Code 12601): MBBS from a recognized university with valid registration with Medical Council of India. Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience (mandatory internship not counted).
• Nurse (A) (Post Code 12602): XII standard + Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery (3 years) OR B.Sc. (Nursing) OR Nursing 'A' certificate with 3 years experience in Armed Forces Hospital; valid nurse registration mandatory.
• Scientific Assistant (B) - Radiographer (Post Code 12603): B.Sc. (Radiography) with minimum 60% marks OR B.Sc. with minimum 50% marks + 1 year Diploma in Radiography.
• Scientific Assistant (B) - Pathology Technician (Post Code 12604): B.Sc. with minimum 60% marks + PG Diploma in DMLT with minimum 60% marks OR B.Sc. (MLT) with minimum 60% marks.
• Pharmacist (B) (Post Code 12605): HSC (10+2) + 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy + 3 months training in Pharmacy + Registration as Pharmacist with Central/State Pharmacy Council.
• Technician (B) - X-ray Technician (Post Code 12606): Minimum 60% in HSC (Science) + 1 year Medical Radiography / X-ray Technique trade certificate.

• 12604 Scientific Assistant (B) - Pathology Technician: ₹150 (SC/ST, Women: exempted)
• 12605 Pharmacist (B): ₹100 (SC/ST, PwBD, Women: exempted)
• 12606 Technician (B) - X-ray Technician: ₹100 (SC/ST, Women: exempted)

Payment mode: Online via BharatKosh / NTRP. Fee once paid is non-refundable.

Selection Process

• Post codes 12601, 12603, 12604: Interview-based selection. If applications are high, a Screening Test (75 MCQs, 90 minutes) may be conducted.
• Post codes 12602, 12605, 12606: Three-stage process-Preliminary Test (50 MCQs), Advanced Test (50 MCQs), and Skill Test (Go/No-Go). Final merit is based on Stage 2 marks.

Examinations/Centers

Examinations are tentatively scheduled at Hyderabad, Mumbai, Rawatbhata, and Pazhayakayal. NFC reserves rights to modify centres.
