Eligibility details

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

• Two-year integrated Postgraduate Master’s Degree from an NCERT Regional Institute of Education or a Master’s Degree with 50% marks in the relevant subject, with B.Ed or equivalent. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English is required.

Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

• Four-/Five-year integrated degree from Regional College of Education or Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject, with B.Ed or equivalent. CTET qualification is preferred.

Primary Teacher (PRT)

• Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), or Graduation with at least 50% marks and D.El.Ed. CTET/TET qualification is preferred.
