Age Limits

• Junior Scientific Officer: Not more than 35 years.
• Scientific Assistant / Laboratory Assistant: Not more than 30 years.
• Research Assistant: Not more than 32 years. (Note: These limits apply to specific non-teaching posts; refer to the official notification for post-wise details.)

Educational Qualifications

• Assistant Professor: Ph.D. in the relevant or allied discipline with a first-class bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree holders who are UGC-NET qualified may be considered for lower remuneration.
• Junior Scientific Officer: Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Forensic Science, Cyber Security, Chemistry, IT) with 2-3 years of experience in industry or research organizations.
• Scientific Assistant: Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Forensic Science, Chemistry, Cyber Security, Clinical Psychology).
• Laboratory Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT).
• Research Assistant: First-class Master’s Degree (minimum 60% marks) in Law, Criminology, or Forensics.

Nationality

Indian citizens or as specified in the official notification.
