NHAI Recruitment 2026 - Online Application for Senior Pavement Design cum Material Expert and Quantity Surveyor

Age limits:

• Senior Pavement Design cum Material Expert: up to 65 years
• Quantity Surveyor: up to 45 years Age relaxation, if any, is at the discretion of the Chairman.

Senior Pavement Design cum Material Expert

• Essential: Graduate in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognised university.
• Desirable: ME/MTech in Highway/Pavement or related field from a recognised university.
• Desirable: PhD in Pavement/Highway Engineering or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 20 years of overall professional experience in highway projects, including pavement design, life-cycle costing under IRC 37/IRC 58, and related international codes. Experience in performance-graded binders/modified bitumen, recycling technologies, and innovative pavement technologies such as geosynthetics, warm mix asphalt (WMA), etc. Experience in pavement forensic investigation and failure analysis.

Quantity Surveyor (QS)

• Essential: Graduate in Civil Engineering or equivalent, or Certificate course from the Institution of Quantity Surveyors.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years in quantity estimation, preparation of bills of quantities, rate analysis, and payment schedules of contract documents for national highways or major highway projects involving bridges/structures/tunnels.
