NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 for 182 Vacancies - Graduate, Diploma & ITI Candidates Apply Online

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years of age. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories will be as per Government of India guidelines.

Educational Qualifications

• Graduate Apprentice: B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.) in relevant branch
• Diploma Apprentice: Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, E&C, Nursing, Pharmacy, X-ray, etc.
• ITI Apprentice: ITI in the relevant trade
• HR, Finance, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and other specialized roles may have category-specific qualifications

Notes

• 10th Pass + ITI/Diploma/Degree in the relevant trade may be required for certain posts.
• Stipends vary by category and include DBT components where applicable.

Application Fee

• No application fee is required for any category of NHPC Apprentices.

Important Instructions

• Online application only. Candidates should apply for one region/state/trade only.
• Registration on NAPS/NATS is required for ITI vs Graduate/Diploma candidates: ITI candidates register on NAPS at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in; Graduate/Diploma candidates register on NATS at nats.education.gov.in.
• After registration, note the enrolment number as it is required in the NHPC application form.
• Upload all necessary documents and review details before final submission on or before the specified end date.
• Applications through channels other than the official NHPC website will not be accepted.
• Candidates awaiting results or who have previously completed a one-year apprenticeship are not eligible.
