Age Limit

Educational Qualification

• Deputy Engineer / Deputy Chief Controller (Civil/Track): 3-year Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a government-recognized institution.
• Deputy Engineer / Deputy Chief Controller (Electrical): 3-year Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics from a government-recognized institution.
• Deputy Engineer / Deputy Chief Controller (Signalling & Telecom): 3-year Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Electronics & Communications, Electrical & Electrical & Electronics, Computer Science, or IT from a government-recognized institution.
• Deputy Engineer / Deputy Chief Controller (Rolling Stock): 3-year Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or related fields (with specific notes for DE/JE).
• Junior Engineer (Rolling Stock - Mechanical): 3-year Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Mechanical.
• Other JE posts (Civil/Track, AFC Systems, etc.): 3-year Diploma or BE/B.Tech in relevant discipline.

Work Experience

• Deputy Engineer Grade (IDA): Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in the relevant field; for CDA/Licensed posts, specific PB-2 + GP 4,200 and 4 years of Group C service, as applicable.
• Junior Engineer Grade: Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in Operations & Maintenance.
