• Principal Designer (Professor): Not exceeding 55 years.
• Senior Faculty/Designer (Associate Professor): Not exceeding 50 years.
• Age relaxation: SC/ST - 5 years; OBC (NCL) - 3 years; Ex-Servicemen - 5 years for Group A posts.

Principal Designer (Professor)

• Essential: Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Design from a recognized university or reputed institution.
• Desirable: Doctorate in Design.
• Specialization: CGI Character Animation, 2D-3D Rigged Animation, stop motion/Claymation, experience in animation production, storytelling and script writing, direction, editing, cinematography, spatial sound design, visual effects, publication & print design, illustration and image making, experience/interaction design, visual grammar, communication theory, typography, ergonomics, cognitive ergonomics, human factors, user-centered design, human-machine interface, styling & representation techniques, surface modeling, knitting, craft-based textiles, surface development, printing & dyeing, sustainable textiles and related areas of textile design, design management, service design, system design, design fundamentals, design process, geometry construction, analytical sketching, color composition, cultural anthropology, material handling and related areas of design.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the relevant field of design.

Senior Faculty / Designer (Associate Professor)

• Essential: Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Design from a recognized university or reputed institution.
• Desirable: Doctorate in Design.
• Specialization: (Same as above).
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the relevant field of Design.
