Eligibility

Essential qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Basic Science (Earth Sciences/Geology, Environmental Science, Geo-informatics, Geophysics, Geophysics, etc.) OR Graduate/Postgraduate degree in a Professional Course (Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Hydrological Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, Remote Sensing & GIS, Computer Science, etc.) with eligibility through any of the following:
  • National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship and GATE
  • National level examinations conducted by Central Government departments and their agencies such as DST, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.

Preferred qualifications

• Candidates with a strong research background and a good record of scientific publications will be given preference.
