Age Limit

• Maximum 50 years as on the date of interview (22-12-2025).
• Relaxable by up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically handicapped candidates as per Government of India rules.

Essential qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Earth Science, or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/Agricultural Engg. with 8 years of R&D experience in industrial/academic institutions or S&T organizations, including 4 years in science and technology program planning, development, and cooperation.
• OR Doctoral Degree in Geology/Earth Science or Master’s in Water Resource Engg./Civil Engg./Agricultural Engg./Hydrology with 4 years of R&D experience in industrial/academic institutions or S&T organizations.

Desirable

• Experience in bathymetric surveys, geophysical surveys, pumping tests, water isotope studies, environmental tracer sampling, analysis, and interpretation
