Eligibility

Essential Qualifications

• PhD in Biotechnology, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or any related field.

Desirable Experience/Skills

• Experience in molecular biology, recombinant DNA, and protein chemistry.
• Handling of mammalian cell lines and cell culture techniques.
• Preferred: experience in live-cell imaging, confocal microscopy, proteomics, and malaria parasite cultures.

Application Fee

• Rs 100 (Rupees one hundred only).
• Payment can be made via Demand Draft drawn on Canara Bank or Indian Bank payable at Delhi/New Delhi in favour of the Director, NII, or via UPI/Paytm/PhonePe, etc.
• Exemptions: SC/ST/PH and Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees upon submission of documentary proof at the time of interview.

General Instructions

• The position is for a time-bound sponsored project titled “Regulation of Plasmodium Cell Cycle and Cell Division by Protein Phosphorylation,” funded by DBT/Wellcome India Alliance, tenable until 31.12.2028.
• The selected candidates will be on contract for one year or the duration of the project, whichever is shorter, at a time.
• No hostel or housing facility will be provided.
• Applicants must clearly mention their category (UR/SC/ST/OBC/PH) and attach documentary proof.
• Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
