Age Limit

Essential Qualification

Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees, with five years of post-qualification experience, or PhD plus two years of post-qualification experience.

Desired Work Experience

PhD with First-class M.Sc./M.S. (Pharm.)/M.Pharm./M.Tech (Pharm.) or an equivalent degree in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or a closely related discipline.

Other Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate strong expertise in organic synthesis, including the synthesis and functionalization of carbocyclic and heterocyclic small molecules intended for drug discovery. Experience in transition-metal catalysis, multi-step synthesis, and C-H bond functionalization is highly desirable. Experience in green and sustainable chemistry is an added advantage.
