Minimum Essential Qualifications

• Class X (10th Standard): Passed with acceptable marks
• Class XII (12th Standard/Intermediate): Passed with acceptable marks
• Diploma/B.Tech./M.Tech.: Any one or more of these with First Division
• PhD (Doctorate): PhD in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university/institute OR Ph.D. thesis submitted (considered equivalent)

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• Teaching experience in Central Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) such as NITs, IITs, or ISM
• Teaching experience in reputed educational institutions
• Research publications in peer‑reviewed journals
• Industry experience in transportation engineering
• Expertise in transportation engineering areas such as Highway Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Transportation Planning, Pavement Design and Construction, Rail/Metro Engineering, Urban Transport Systems
