• Assistant Professor Grade II (Pay Level 10): 35 years
• Assistant Professor Grade I: 40 years
• Associate Professor: 45 years
• Professor: 50 years

Eligibility details

• The essential academic qualification for all levels (Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor) is a Ph.D. in the respective discipline with First Class in the preceding degrees.
• Candidates having a Ph.D. directly after BE/B.Tech are eligible, provided they have First Class at the Bachelor’s level.
• BE / B.Tech. (Biotechnology) and ME / M.Tech. or equivalent in Biotechnology.
• ME / M.Tech. or equivalent in Chemical Engineering / Petrochemical Engineering / Petroleum Technology / Process Control and Instrumentation / Polymer Technology / Biochemical Engineering / Energy Engineering / Nanotechnology / Environmental Engineering.
• BE / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering / Construction Technology / Construction Management / Architecture and Planning (or equivalent) / Environmental Engineering / Agricultural Engineering / Geoinformatics / Geotechnical Engineering; B.Arch / B.Plan.
• ME / M.Tech. or equivalent in Construction Technology and Management / Environmental Engineering / Geoinformatics / Geotechnical Engineering / Transportation Engineering.
• ME / M.Tech. or equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering / Computer Science and Information Security / Artificial Intelligence / Software Engineering.
• M.Sc. or equivalent in Computer Science; ME / M.Tech. or equivalent in Mathematics and Computing / Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Artificial Intelligence and Data Science / Software Engineering.
