NSOU B.Ed. & M.Ed. Special Education Admission 2026 - Eligibility, Dates, and Fees

NSOU B.Ed. Special Education 2026

• Must have RCI-recognized D.Ed. in Special Education plus a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 50% marks (55% for Engineering/Technology with Science & Maths).
• Candidates without a D.Ed. in Special Education but with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 50% marks (55% for B.E./B.Tech.) are also eligible.
• Reserved category relaxations as per West Bengal government rules.
• Special weightage for parents of children with disabilities.

NSOU M.Ed. Special Education 2026

• B.Ed. Special Education in IDD/HI with 50% marks plus valid RCI Registration, OR
• B.Ed. General with D.Ed. Special Education in IDD/HI with 50% marks each, OR
• PG Diploma in Special Education (recognized by RCI up to 2014-15), OR
• 4-year Integrated B.Ed. Special Education with 50% marks plus RCI Registration.
• Valid RCI CRR Number mandatory.

• Availability of Online Application Form: 12th May 2026 (From 04:00 p.m.)
• Last date of submission of Online Applications: 6th June 2026 (Till 6:00 p.m.)
• Publication of Provisional Merit List: 16th June 2026 (After 6:00 p.m.)
• Central Counselling (Offline) & Spot Admission: To be notified on 16th June 2026 along with Provisional Merit List

Application Fees

• B.Ed. Special Education (IDD/HI/VI): Processing Fee ₹500; Course Fee ₹40,000.
• M.Ed. Special Education (IDD/HI): Processing Fee ₹500; Total Programme Fee ₹85,000 (₹40,000 at admission + ₹45,000 in 3rd semester).
