NSPCL Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 17 Sr. Assistant Officer & Sr. Assistant Engineer Posts

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 32 years as on the last date of online application. Age relaxations apply as per Government guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen.

Educational Qualifications

• Sr. Assistant Officer (HR): Graduation with at least two years of full-time post-graduate management qualification (MBA/PGDM in HR/IR/Personnel Management or related) with not less than 60%, or Masters in Social Work or MHROD; MBA with HR specialization preferred. Computer knowledge essential; a degree in law desirable.
• Sr. Assistant Officer (Law): LLB or equivalent with minimum 60% marks.
• Sr. Assistant Engineer (Electrical): B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics with at least 60% marks.
• Sr. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production with at least 60% marks.
• Sr. Assistant Engineer (C&I): B.E./B.Tech in Electronics/Control & Instrumentation/Instrumentation with at least 60% marks.
• Sr. Assistant Engineer (IT/ERP): B.E./B.Tech in IT/CS/Electronics & Communication with at least 60% marks.

Experience

• Sr. Assistant Officer (HR): Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in HR/Administration, preferably in establishment, policy, IR, recruitment, etc.
• Sr. Assistant Officer (Law): Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in litigation, contracts, legal opinions, arbitration, regulatory compliance; power/infra/engineering sector experience desirable.
• Sr. Assistant Engineer posts (Electrical/Mechanical/C&I/IT/ERP): Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in relevant power sector or IT/infrastructure roles as specified in the job descriptions.

• Commencement of online application: 07-09-2026 (from 10:00 AM)
• Last date for online application: 22-09-2026 (till 6:00 PM)
• The notification does not specify separate dates for admit card, exam, or results.

Application Fee

• General/UR/EWS/OBC (Male): Rs. 300 (non-refundable)
• SC/ST/PwBD/XSM candidates and Female candidates: Nil (exempted)

Payment must be made online through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI. The fee is non-refundable.

General Instructions

• Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
• All qualifications must be from Indian recognised institutions.
• Age, experience, and qualification criteria must be satisfied as of the last date of online application.
• NSPCL reserves the right to cancel/restrict vacancies or alter the selection process.
• The recruitment may involve multi-stage shortlisting, written tests, and interviews.
• No manual/paper applications will be entertained.
• A candidate can apply for one post only; if applying for multiple posts, the last submission will be considered.
• No travel allowances will be paid for online tests.
• Ensure accuracy of the information before submitting the application.

Reservations, Relaxations & Concessions

• Reservations for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PwBD/XSM are provided as per government orders.
• Certificates as per category must be valid and in the prescribed format of the Government of India.
• Category changes are not allowed after submission.
• Relaxations in age are as per government guidelines.

Service Bond & Health

• General category candidates must execute a service agreement bond of Rs. 5,00,000; SC/ST/PwBD candidates: Rs. 2,50,000.
• Candidates must undergo medical examination prior to joining. Health norms are available on the NSPCL website.
