Age Limits

• Jr. Young Professional: Not exceeding 35 years.
• Sr. Young Professional: Not exceeding 38 years.

Eligibility

• A qualified Food Analyst as per Rule 2.1.4 of the Food Safety and Standards Rules, 2011.
• Essential qualifications include:
  • Master’s in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Dairy Chemistry, or Bachelor/Master’s in Food Technology, Food and Nutrition, or Dairy Technology from a recognized university.
  • Postgraduate Diploma or MBA from a recognized university/institution.
  • MSc (Chemistry) or equivalent; BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
  • BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
  • MSc (Microbiology) or BE/B.Tech in Microbiology.
  • BE/B.Tech in Textile/Footwear/Rubber/Polymer Technology or MSc (Chemistry).
• Desirable qualifications include a Doctorate in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in English, technical aptitude, and ability to use web-based tools.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years in food analysis in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory or equivalent.
• Additional experience requirements vary by post and field, with preferences for government organizations.

General Information / Instructions

1. The appointment is purely contractual and can be terminated with one month’s notice from either side. NTH may terminate without prior notice in case of breach of contract terms.
2. Remuneration:
   • Sr. Young Professionals: ₹70,000 per month (consolidated), with ₹5,000 per year increase on tenure extension.
   • Jr. Young Professionals: ₹40,000 per month (consolidated), with ₹5,000 per year increase on tenure extension.
3. No TA/DA shall be admissible for attending the selection process or joining.
4. Shortlisted candidates will be informed for interview.
