Eligibility Details

TGT

• Four-year integrated degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC) or a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts & Science in the subject with 50% marks along with a B.Ed. or a 3-year integrated B.A./B.Ed. (as prescribed by NCTE).

TGT (English)

• English as Honours/Pass/Elective/Major/Special Subject at Graduation.

TGT (Odia)

• Odia as Honours/Pass/Elective/Major/Special Subject at Graduation.

TGT (Social Studies)

• One subject from History, Geography, Political Science, or Economics at B.A., plus another related subject from the listed options.

TGT (Math)

• B.Sc. with Math (and two of Physics, Chemistry, CS/CSIT, Statistics, Electronics) or B.Tech/B.E with B.Sc. Math and two of the related subjects.

TGT (Science)

• B.Sc. with three subjects among Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences.

TGT (Hindi)

• A complex combination of Hindi-related qualifications with B.Ed or equivalent training, as detailed in the notification.

TGT (Sanskrit)

• Bachelor’s in Arts with Sanskrit honours or Shastri (Sanskrit) with 50% marks, with relevant training qualifications.

PGT

• Two-year integrated Postgraduate Course with at least 50% marks or an equivalent Master’s Degree with B.Ed.

PGT (English/Math/Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Commerce/Economics/Computer Science)

• Relevant Master’s degree in the subject with B.Ed. or equivalent training as applicable. Specific combinations are listed in the notification.
