Part-Time Teachers - Eligibility Criteria

PGT (Postgraduate Teachers)

• Two-year integrated postgraduate program with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC) in the concerned subject, OR Master’s degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC) in the subject.
• B.Ed. (as prescribed by NCTE) from an institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized university.
• Proficiency in teaching Odia & English.
• Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.

TGT (Trained Graduate Teachers)

• Bachelor’s degree in Arts & Science in the concerned subjects with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC), along with a B.Ed. or a 3-year integrated B.A./B.Ed (as prescribed by NCTE) with 50% in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC).
• Proficiency in teaching Odia & English.
• Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.
