Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 45 years as on the date of registration for Walk-in-Interview.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. Geology or Applied Geology, or M.Tech. Geology or Applied Geology, of minimum two years duration from a government-recognized university or institute.
• Must possess a PhD degree with specialization in Organic Geochemistry.

Experience

• Post-qualification work experience of more than three years in a Geological Laboratory within the Oil & Gas industry, a research organization, university, or institute.

Important Instructions

• The engagement is contractual for an initial period of 1 year, extendable for another year based on requirement, up to a maximum of 2 years.
• Selected candidates will be posted at CoEES, Oil India Limited, Guwahati, Assam.
• Various laboratory and field responsibilities include handling Rock Eval Pyrolyzer, GC, GC-MS, petrological microscope, data interpretation, and maintaining records.
• The candidate must join immediately if provisionally selected; extensions may be given up to 15 days if necessary.
• Adherence to OIL’s HSE policies and Code of Conduct is mandatory.
• All taxes as applicable will be borne by the selected candidate.
• The engagement can be terminated with 15 days notice by either side.
• Canvassing will result in rejection. Final selection follows a walk-in interview, with a minimum merit threshold of 50 marks out of 100.
• Candidates must produce original documents for verification, and those lacking original documents may be disqualified.
