Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 55 years (as on 01-12-2025)

Eligibility Details

• Must hold a certificate of competency as Master of Foreign Going ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India.
• One year of post-qualification experience as Master/Chief Officer of a foreign-going ship.

How to Apply

1. Persons employed in Government Sector (including Major Ports) should route their applications through the proper channel or provide a No Objection Certificate from their present employer at the time of interview.
2. Submit the prescribed application form along with self-attested copies of all supporting documents to: The Secretary, Paradip Port Authority, Administrative Building, Paradip-754142, Jagatsinghpur, Odisha.
3. Envelope should be superscribed: “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF TRAINEE PILOT (ON CONTRACT)”.
4. Attach two latest passport-size photographs (one on the application form; name written on the back).
5. Applications received after 01-01-2026 will not be considered.
