Educational Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Plant Breeding / Plant Breeding & Genetics / Biotechnology / Entomology with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.
• Two years of research experience in a relevant field.
• Candidates with or without NET/GATE are eligible; salary differs accordingly as per DBT guidelines.
• Desirable: Experience in the relevant field as mentioned in the notice.

Notes

• The position is offered on a contractual basis under PAU norms.
• Selection is based on interview/selection committee evaluation.

• Obtain the prescribed application form from the Office of the Department of Plant Breeding & Genetics, PAU Ludhiana.
• Pay the online fee of Rs. 200/- and attach the payment proof along with self-attested copies of certificates for qualifications and experience.
• Submit the fully completed application in the concerned office on or before 08-12-2025. Incomplete or unsupported applications will not be entertained.
• Candidates must appear for the interview on 11-12-2025 at 11:00 AM with original documents. No separate interview letters will be issued.
