Age Limit

• General: 18 to 37 years as of 01/01/2026
• SC/BC: 5 years relaxation over the normal maximum age
• Ex-Serviceman (Punjab Domicile): Service in Armed Forces deducted; may be eligible for up to 3 years relaxation
• PwD: 10 years over the normal maximum age
• Widows/Divorced/Separated women with certain conditions: up to 40 years
• Serving PSPCL/PSTCL/Punjab Govt. employees: relaxation to the extent of service rendered

Educational Qualification

• Basic qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Professional qualification: National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in Lineman Trade. NAC must be passed in Lineman Trade up to the last date of online submission.
• Punjabi language: Must have passed Punjabi at least at Matriculation level or equivalent up to the last date of online submission.

Age and Other Criteria

• Candidates should be between 18 and 37 years as on 01/01/2026. Age relaxations as per PSPCL/Punjab Government instructions.

• Start Date for Online Registration / Submission of Application and Fee Deposit: 15 June 2026
• Last Date for Online Registration / Submission of Application: 06 July 2026
• Last Date for Deposit of Fee: 10 July 2026
• Date of Online Test (Tentative): To be notified on PSPCL website
• Admit Card/Document Checking timelines: To be notified later

Application Fee (online payment only)

• General/EWS/BC/All candidates except SC and PwD: Rs. 1200 + GST 18% = Rs. 1416 (plus bank charges if applicable)
• SC and PwD: Rs. 750 + GST 18% = Rs. 885 (plus bank charges if applicable)
• GST @ 18% is applicable as per Government norms
