Age Limit

Candidates must be between 18 and 37 years of age as on 01-01-2026. Special relaxations apply as per Punjab Government instructions.

Eligibility Details

• Punjabi language knowledge is mandatory for all posts. Candidates must have passed Punjabi at least at the Matriculation level or equivalent.
• General educational qualifications vary by post (see official notification for post-wise requirements). All qualifications must be possessed by the last date of online application (01-07-2026).
• Posts include Certified Welder, Auxiliary Plant Attendant (Mechanical), Bulldozer Operator, Laboratory Assistant, Electrician Grade-1, Technician Grade-1 (Mechanical/Instrumentation), Welder Grade-1, Loco Shunter Operator, Fireman, and others.

Important Dates

• Start Date of Online Registration & Fee Deposit: 11-06-2026
• Last Date of Online Registration & Fee Deposit: 01-07-2026
• Last Date of Fee Deposit: 06-07-2026
• Admit Card Upload (without test centre): At least 7 days before exam date
• Final Admit Card Upload (with test centre): At least 3 days before exam date
• Online Test Date: To be notified on www.pspcl.in (tentatively in Punjab/Chandigarh)

Application Fees

• General/OC/EWS/XSM/FF/SP: Rs. 1,200 + GST 18% = Rs. 1,416 (plus bank charges if applicable)
• SC and PwD: Rs. 750 + GST 18% = Rs. 885 (plus bank charges if applicable)
• Fee is non-refundable. A separate fee is required for each post applied for.

Important Instructions

• Apply online only via the PSPCL website. Separate applications and fees are required for each post.
• Punjabi language qualification is mandatory for all posts. Group C posts include a Punjabi qualifying test as part of the CBT process.
• For Fireman, a physical fitness test is mandatory in addition to the CBT.
• Keep your mobile number and email ID active through the recruitment process for communications.
• Read the full notification before applying. Pay attention to NOC requirements if currently employed and to domicile/reservation rules applicable to Punjab candidates.
