Eligibility

Educational Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution, or its equivalent
  • A 120-hour computer/IT course with working experience in Office Productivity Applications or Desktop Publishing Applications from a government-recognized or ISO 9001-certified institution, OR a computer/IT course equivalent to the DOEACC ‘O’ level certificate of the Government of India
  • Matriculation-level Punjabi or an equivalent qualification as required under Rule 17 of the Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Service) Rules, 1994
  • A mandatory Punjabi language qualifying test, equivalent to Matriculation standard, with a minimum of 50% marks, conducted in addition to the competitive examination
