Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 27 years
• Relaxation as per applicable rules for reserved categories.

Educational Qualifications

• Warder (Male Only): 12th Pass (10+2) from a recognized board with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject, or an equivalent qualification in Punjabi as prescribed by the government.
• Matron (Female Only): 12th Pass (10+2) from a recognized board with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject, or an equivalent qualification in Punjabi as prescribed by the government. Only women are eligible for the Matron post.

Other Eligibility

• Punjabi language knowledge at Matriculation level or equivalent as per Punjab Civil Services Rules, 1994.

• General / EWS / Freedom Fighter / Sports Candidates: Rs 1000
• SC / BC / EWS Candidates: Rs 250
• Ex-Servicemen & Dependents: Rs 200
