Age Details

There is no specified minimum or maximum age limit for PSTET 2026.

Eligibility Details

Paper 1 (Class 1-5)

• Senior Secondary (or 12th standard) with at least 50% marks and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or an equivalent teacher training program, OR
• Senior Secondary with 45-50% marks and a 2-year D.El.Ed or equivalent, as per NCTE norms, OR
• Graduation with 2-year D.El.Ed or a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) as allowed by the official notification.

Paper 2 (Class 6-8)

• Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed, OR
• 4-year integrated B.El.Ed / B.A.B.Ed / B.Sc.B.Ed or equivalent as specified by NCTE and PSTET notification.
