Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age (with relaxation as applicable):
  • Unreserved/OBC (NCL): 45 years
  • Reserved Category (SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/EWS): 43 years
  • Sports Person (Unreserved): Up to 45 years
  • Sports Person (Reserved/EWS): Up to 43 years
  • PwD (Divyang) - Unreserved: 43 years
  • PwD - Reserved/EWS: 43 years
  • Orphan (Anath) candidates: 43 years
• A candidate claiming multiple relaxations will be entitled to only one relaxation benefit.

Eligibility Details

Medical Officer (MBBS) - 766 Posts

• MBBS degree from a statutory university or an equivalent qualification as specified in the First or Second Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Medical Officer (Specialist) - 674 Posts

• Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in the specified subjects (as per Para 4.2 of the advertisement) from a statutory university, or PG Degree/Diploma equivalent as specified in the Indian Medical Council Act.

Internship

• Candidates must have completed their internship on or before the last date of application. The internship completion certificate must be uploaded with the application; otherwise, the application will be cancelled.

Registration

• A valid Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) / National Medical Commission (NMC) registration certificate or renewal receipt as on the date of application is mandatory. Without this, the application will not be accepted.

Foreign-Educated Candidates

• MBBS from outside India must have cleared FMGE. The FMGE marksheet must be submitted with the application.

Domicile

• Valid Maharashtra Domicile (Adhivas) certificate as on the date of application is mandatory. Benefits of reservation are available only to permanent residents of Maharashtra.

Additional Notes

• Candidates other than those holding qualifications in Para 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3 are not eligible.
• PG qualifications in subjects other than those notified may apply as plain MBBS candidates with written consent in the application form.
• Regular Maharashtra Medical and Health Service Group-A (S-20) officers currently serving are not eligible to apply.

Application Fee

• Unreserved (General) Category: Rs. 1000/- (Non-refundable)
• Reserved Category / EWS / Orphan (Anath) / PwD (Divyang): Rs. 700/- (Non-refundable)
• Bank charges and applicable taxes extra. Fee must be paid online via the official website. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Other Instructions

• Submit only one application per candidate. Multiple applications will be canceled.
• Applications submitted by post or via other means will not be entertained.

• Required documents include birth certificate, Maharashtra Domicile certificate, caste/validity certificates (if applicable), NCL certificate (if applicable), internship completion certificate, MMC/NMC registration, passport photo, signature, Aadhaar, NBE marksheet (if applicable), MBBS/PG marksheets, PwD certificates (if applicable), sports certificates (if applying under sports quota), and any other relevant documents.
