Age limit

18-35 years as on 18-09-2026 for both Driver and Frash. Ex-servicemen get relaxation as per defence service plus 3 years.

Driver

• Qualification: 10+2 pass with Punjabi or Hindi as a subject in matriculation.
• Licence: Valid LMV driving licence.
• Experience: Minimum two years of driving experience.

Frash

• Qualification: Knowledge of Hindi and the regional language. No other formal educational qualification is specified in the notification.
• Date of birth proof acceptance: Matriculation Certificate or Birth Certificate (as applicable).

Application Fees

• General and SC/ST/BC (outside Punjab, Haryana, and U.T. Chandigarh): Driver ₹1000, Frash ₹700
• SC/ST/BC (Punjab, Haryana, and U.T. Chandigarh): Driver ₹800, Frash ₹600
• Ex-servicemen: Driver ₹800, Frash ₹600
• Frash: No fee for eligible dependents of disabled or deceased Ex-servicemen with proof uploaded at application.
• Fee relaxation/eligibility for SC/ST/BC applies to those domiciled in Punjab, Haryana, or U.T. Chandigarh; others fall under General Category.

Important Instructions

• Only one application per category, per post. If multiple applications are submitted for the same post, the latest one will be considered.
• Meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee call for the Practical Test-cum-Interview (Driver) or Interview (Frash).
• No TA/DA will be paid for test/interview phases.
