Eligibility Details

Educational Qualifications

• MBBS degree from any university recognized by the Medical Council of India in the allopathic system of medicine.
• Postgraduate degree in General Medicine is also eligible.

Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience practicing medicine in a hospital or clinic.

Location/Residence Requirements

• The applicant should have a dispensary or place of residence within a radius of 10-15 km from the dispensaries located at the Bank's Office Premises/Reserve Bank of India Officers' Colony at the specified location (Guwahati).

How to Apply

• Prepare the application in the prescribed format (as per Annex-III) and send in a sealed cover superscribed as “Application for the Post of Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) on Contract Basis with Fixed Hourly Remuneration”.
• Submit to: The Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Human Resource Management Department (Recruitment Section), Station Road, Panbazar, Guwahati - 781001 on or before 05:00 PM, 22-01-2026.

Selection and Terms

• Selection will be through an interview for one Bank’s Medical Consultant on a contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration. Shortlisted candidates may be subjected to medical tests at their expense.
• Appointment is subject to medical fitness and acceptance of Terms and Conditions as per Annex-I and Code of Conduct as per Annex-II. An agreement will be required before engagement.
