RDWU Faculty Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 80 Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor Posts

Age Limit

Candidates above 60 years are not eligible to apply for any of the RDWU faculty posts.

Eligibility Details

Professor (Pay Level-14, 7th CPC)

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline with at least 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per UGC guidelines, or outstanding professionals with significant contributions.
• A minimum of ten years of teaching experience at university/college level or equivalent research experience, with evidence of guiding doctoral candidates.

Associate Professor (Pay Level-13A, 7th CPC)

• Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
• Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/SEBC/OBC-NCL/Differently abled). Relaxation of 5% for Ph.D. holders who completed Master before 19 Sep 1991.
• Minimum eight years of teaching/research experience, with at least seven publications and a total research score of 75 per UGC guidelines.

Assistant Professor (Pay Level-10, 7th CPC)

• Master’s Degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/ PwD).
• National Eligibility Test (NET) or CSIR, or a similar test (SLET/SET) or Ph.D. as per UGC regulations (NET exemptions as per latest UGC guidelines).

• SC / ST / PwD / Women: Rs. 1000

Other Instructions

• Applications must be submitted online via the HIMS Portal; no other format will be accepted.
• A hard copy of the downloaded application and all supporting documents must be sent by Speed Post to the Registrar, Rama Devi Women’s University, Bhubaneswar by 20-06-2026.
• Only matriculation/SSC certificates are accepted as proof of date of birth.
• Candidates above 60 years of age are not eligible.
• Applicants may apply for more than one post but must pay the fee separately for each post.
• Upload documents in PDF/image format; photograph should be less than 200 KB in JPEG.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Canvassing will lead to disqualification. Jurisdiction: Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, Odisha.
