Professor

• PhD with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the relevant branch

• 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, with at least 4 years at the Associate Professor level

Associate Professor

• PhD with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the relevant branch
• Very good academic record
• Minimum 6 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, with at least 3 years at the Assistant Professor level

Assistant Professor Grade-I

• PhD with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the relevant branch
• Very good academic record
• 3 or more years of teaching/research/industrial experience (excluding PhD)

Assistant Professor Grade-II (on Contract)

• PhD with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the relevant branch
• Very good academic record
• Fresh PhD eligible on contract for the first 3 years
