Eligibility

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in a relevant/allied subject from an Indian university or an accredited foreign university.
• Additionally, must have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or an accredited SLET/SET or possess a Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2018 (with amendments).
• Ph.D. candidates registered before July 11, 2009 are exempted from NET/SLET/SET if conditions are met: Ph.D. awarded, thesis evaluated by two external examiners, open viva conducted, two research papers published (at least one in a refereed journal), and at least two conference presentations (certified by Registrar/Dean).
• Ph.D. from a top-500-ranked university (QS, THE, ARWU Shanghai) exempts NET/SLET/SET.
• Department-specific qualifications apply as listed in the vacancy table.
